In addition to medical services, Ranch Animal Hospital offers extensive boarding and grooming with 64 indoor runs and suites for canine vacationers and separate cat condos for their feline guests.

“I am extremely proud to be part of Innovetive Petcare. I was looking to retire after almost 40 years in practice. I did a great deal of research and was very impressed with Innovetive Petcare and the hospitals they owned. I felt that Innovetive had the proper leadership in place and strategy to take my hospitals to the next level. I wanted to be a part of this company and its future growth!

When I met Elizabeth Gibson, we had dinner and then I gave her a tour of my hospitals. As I told my wife when I returned home that evening, I was super impressed and comfortable with her. We chatted about our experiences in the veterinary profession for an hour and we were both on the same page. She understands the challenges veterinary medicine faces today and has grown up in the profession. My conversations with Paul Covill were straight forward and everything he said, he did. I knew they were the group I was going to join. I am extremely proud to be part of Innovetive Petcare!”

We Welcome Two More Texas Practices, Acorn Hill Animal Hospital in San Antonio and Loop 363 Animal Hospital in Temple!!

Acorn Hill Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital located in San Antonio, Texas. The 3,000 square foot, four-exam-room building was originally built in 1978 and is located off of Wurzak Parkway, one of San Antonio’s main residential highways. Acorn Hill’s Medical Director, Dr. Clint Powell, purchased the hospital in 2011. Their services include but not limited to wellness care, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, dermatology, and diagnostics. With the addition of a Medical Director to the team, Acorn Hill Animal Hospital now also offers veterinary orthopedic manipulation to their clients. A mere 20 minutes from San Antonio’s famous Riverwalk, Acorn Hill Animal Hospital has been serving their clients from this exact location for over 40 years.

Loop 363 Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary practice located in Temple, Texas. Near Belton, Texas, Temple lies in the region referred to as Central Texas and is a principal city in the Killeen – Temple – Fort Hood metropolitan area. Located off Interstate 35, Temple is 65 miles north of Austin, 34 miles south of Waco and 27 miles east of Killeen.

Built in 1993 and purchased by Medical Director, Dr. Gage Blackstone, in 2012, the original selling veterinarian, Dr. Teresa Boedeker, remained at the clinic as an associate after the sale of the hospital and continues in that role today. Services provided by Loop 363 Animal Hospital include wellness, surgery, dental care, diagnostics, radiology, ultrasounds, hospice and cremation services in addition to on-site boarding for clients.

“I had been exploring the possibilities of selling my practice to several other corporations and had several pending good offers for my practice, but I wasn’t feeling comfortable enough to pull the trigger on these deals. Nikki Wilkinson did a great job of selling the advantages of IPC, and it was also important to me that Paul Covill took the time to meet me and discuss the IPC offer.

Innovetive Petcare is acquiring practices at a slower, more sustainable rate than other companies and is doing a better job of having the necessary support for their practices. Also, Innovetive Petcare is allowing me to maintain some ownership in the practice for the next 3-5 years; this is a big difference from other companies who made offers for my practice!”
