Innovetive Petcare Welcomes 5 More Practices

Innovetive Petcare welcome’s year 2021 with five new animal practices joining our family located in the states of Georgia (3) and Massachusetts (2).

Several of our new practices are, “AAHA-accredited,” recognized for operating at a higher medical standard. If you are not familiar with AAHA, the accreditation process is challenging and rigorous. When a veterinary practice earns accreditation, it’s making a proclamation that their organization is committed to excellence. According to Veterinary Practice News (March 2018,) only 12 to 15 percent of animal hospitals are accredited and we are excited to have these fine clinics as part of our growing network!

Vernon Woods Animal Hospital was founded by Dr. Jay Empel in 1973. It is an AAHA-accredited, full-service animal hospital located in Atlanta, GA. While most clients are cats and dogs, Vernon Woods Animal Hospital also sees small mammals, ferrets, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, and guinea pigs. Brookhaven Animal Hospital, also AAHA-accredited, is a full service animal hospital located in the heart of Brookhaven, in Atlanta, Georgia. North Springs Animal Clinic is a full-service hospital located in North Sandy Springs in Atlanta, Georgia.

Melrose Animal Clinic is a full-service animal clinic located in Melrose, MA. Founded in 1982, the clinic was purchased by Medical Director, Dr. Silverman in 1992 and renovated in 2011. Melrose Animal Clinic is an AAHA-accredited, cat-friendly, and fear-free practice. It has six exam rooms for seven veterinarians and has over 4,100 square feet of space.

Acorn Animal Hospital, located in Franklin, MA is a full-service veterinary hospital established in 1952. Acorn Animal Hospital’s Medical Director, Dr. Andrew Weitzman, acquired the practice in 1994.

Now at 40+ and growing, we are thrilled to have a veterinary presence in Atlanta, GA, also known as the “Silicon Peach.” Massachusetts is also a new state for Innovetive Petcare. Settled in 1628, Melrose, MA is a suburb located approximately seven miles north of Boston and situated in the center of a triangle created by Interstates 93, 95 and U.S. Route 1. Franklin, MA, about 40 miles outside Boston, is home to the country’s first public library, with its first books donated by Benjamin Franklin himself in 1790.
