Join us in welcoming Dr. Anjanette Cabeza with Doral Centre Animal Hospital and Woodland Lodge Pet Resort located in Doral, Florida, to the Innovetive Petcare family.

I had grown the company from myself and one employee in a 1,500 square foot shopping center space to 50 employees, two businesses and 9,000 square feet,” says Dr. Anjanette Cabeza.
Doral Centre Animal Hospital was founded by Dr. Cabeza in 1998. Minutes from Miami International Airport, Doral Centre Animal Hospital provides both general practice (GP) services and 24-hour emergency care. They also offer endoscopy, ultrasound, orthopedic services, laser therapy, PennHIP certification, health certificates and wellness plans. Community involvement is important to Doral Centre Animal Hospital. Dr. Cabeza started the Cabeza Foundation and partners with Miami-Dade’s Spay/Neuter Initiative to provide spays for feral cats alongside charitable support through local fundraising events and client education. Woodland Lodge Pet Resort is a mountainous, Colorado-themed boarding facility with accommodations for 30 cats and dogs. They go above and beyond traditional boarding services — with luxurious resort room suites, outdoor play areas, doggy swimming pool and splash pad, spa-style grooming, behavior training, and live pet webcams for their clients.
Dr. Cabeza’s goal has always been to be the best ER clinic in Miami. Their mission is to provide university-quality medical care to patients while being compassionate to both clients and each other. They feared with the rate their clinic was growing that Dr. Cabeza wouldn’t be able to manage the business… and be a doctor! She knew she had to choose either to go full-time into management or continue to be a great doctor. Although passionate about both, ultimately the pets, people and medicine remain her number one passion!
