IPC Welcomes Georgia’s Barkfield Animal Hospital
Forsyth County sits approximately 45 minutes north of Atlanta, nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Known for its beautiful farmlands, award-winning, state-of-the-art schools, and local government, it also has Lake Lanier nearby for recreation. Highway 400 also offers easy access to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, connecting this serene hideaway to the hustle and bustle of the city.
Within Forsyth lies the city of Cumming, which our newest partner calls home. Barkfield Animal Hospital first opened its “doors” in 2014 as a fully mobile practice with a luxury boarding facility called The Barkfield Inn. Barkfield Animal Hospital’s popularity quickly facilitated expansion into a brick-and-mortar location, and the decision was made to modify the boarding facility while continuing the mobile component.
Barkfield Animal Hospital is a full-service, small animal veterinary clinic run by three extraordinarily knowledgeable and community-revered veterinarians as well as an experienced and dedicated staff. The main clinic features digital x-rays, an in-house lab, dentistry, surgical services, luxury boarding, and doggy daycare, while the mobile unit offers digital x-rays, dentistry, and surgical and laboratory services. The combination of both these comprehensive yet convenient services allows Barkfield Animal Hospital to distinguish itself by the unique way they serve the pets and pet owners of Forsyth County and its surrounding areas.
