IPC’s “LaunchPad” Encourages Veterinary Ideation
This Spring, Innovetive Petcare introduced “LaunchPad,” a 12-week, company-wide technology competition where Innovetive Petcare employees are encouraged to conceptualize, create, and implement new ideas that spur innovative thinking across veterinary medicine.
Over 2,000 Innovetive Petcare employees representing 67 veterinary practices were eligible to participate by submitting their unique ideas to inspire technological advancement, team engagement, client experience, and patient care.
A dedicated “LaunchPad” website, complete with online registration and submission intake form, was launched as the idea-sourcing platform for our employees to participate here.
The annual competition drew massive interest, elevating our employees’ voices while embracing our core value of “entrepreneurship,” with over 96 idea submissions and 270 votes tallied to determine the winners. Voters were even awarded great prizes for participating, such as LaunchPad and IPC branded gear to help get teams excited.
The LanchPad competition was designed to be both easy and fun. It was conducted in three short phases: 1) ideation with submission, 2) voting, and 3) presenting. After submitting an idea, Innovetive Petcare employees voted on the most impactful ideas company-wide through the ideation platform at www.ipclaunchpad.com, an intake site designed explicity for Launchpad.

Top-voted winners will be flown to the Innovetive Petcare Home Office in Austin, Texas, later this Summer to present their ideas to the senior leadership team. As part of the process, contenders will also be able to further enhance their presentation and leadership skills (with the top ideas possibly becoming a reality!) Innovetive Petcare’s top three winners will walk away with prizes of $5,000, $2,500, and $1,000, respectively.
Voting has officially closed on IPC Launchpad this month and we will be contacting the top winners in the coming weeks to compete against each other for the grand prize. Stay tuned for the final ideas and winners!
